One Last Christmas.

Hold your loved ones tight and say a prayer of thanks.  And give to St. Jude.  Let’s make a difference in memory of this beautiful child…

ETA: Warning.  This is going to render you a bawling heap of mess.  I shared it the other night in a fit of gratitude for a healthy boy – but please don’t watch it unless you’re feeling particularly strong or particularly ready to weep.

There are no words, so I’m not going to try.  I’m just going to sit here, crying ugly tears, and feeling so very, very grateful for my healthy little boy.  I watch these parents smiling with him and living that life and can’t even begin to wrap my head around that kind of strength.  The least we can do is watch and give what we can.  Every little bit helps.

We had this for a patient when I was a fellow…after over 100,000 cards and christmas gifts, his parents actually asked people to send to a charity instead…their house was so overrun…

Oh my gosh, crying the ugly cry right now. God bless that little boy and his family. This is pain no parent should ever have to feel. I wish I could hold my little man in my arms right now. Hug and kiss him for me please. xoxoxox Grmmy
